There tends to be a pretty serious uptick in the number of cards featured in my Want List Wednesday/Project Progress Report articles any time a Toronto Expo show has taken place since the last post in the series.

It’s been more than a month since I was at the Expo, but since the last post in this series went up two days before the show, I finally get to show off (almost) everything that I managed to accumulate while I was there.

Those numbers are also bolstered even further by what I added through trades and on eBay over the course of the month.

When all was said and done, since my last update on the additions to my various projects and collections, another 178 cards have been removed from my want lists, easily the most in a single month thus far in 2012.

Those 178 cards include the following:

• 66 cards from the various sets I am working towards completing in the hopes of either trading or selling (none of which are pictured below).  Five such sets were actually finished off this month as a result of these additions (1990-91 O-Pee-Chee Red Army Inserts, 2006-07 Upper Deck, 2007-08 Fleer Hot Prospects, 2008-09 Black Diamond, and 2008-09 Upper Deck), which just happens to be the same number I had been aiming to complete for the entire year based on my Collecting Goal #2 (I’m up to 9 in total now)!
• 35 cards for my 2006-2010 Toronto Blue Jays project
• 14 1997-98 Donruss Preferred Cut to the Chase cards
